The Center for Environmental Communication and Education grew out of a relationship between NOAA’s Channel Islands National Marine Sanctuary (CINMS) and UC Santa Barbara. The two founding partners share resources and programming, providing ocean science education and outreach to the community.
Since CECE’s inception, its partnerships have continued to expand. Today’s vision includes not only addressing ocean issues, but all global environmental challenges.
